This is just weird....

I just got home from my interview at San Diego state and guess what I find as I walk through the foyer? My kitten, Baby Daisy, sitting next to a ripped open box of donuts in the living room, licking them. My other cat, Crimson, is sitting on top of the kitchen counter where the donuts used to be, cleaning his paws. I swear it was a conspiracy....how does a cat rip open a box of donuts?? Cats like donuts??

I am a big scaredy cat....

This morning I was in my pool and just kind of paddling around on a floaty mattress I got from the garage. Well, I flipped the freaking mattress over and GUESS what was on the other side? A brown recluse spider!!!! well...at least I thought it was...
Actually it was a wolf spider. However, that didn't stop me from screaming my bloody brains out. In case you don't know what a wolf spider looks like here's one


I have no idea what made me think it was a brown recluse...lol
But lemme tell you, it was HUGE. I am never getting near another pool mattress again!

What's so great about New York??

Frisk (see Cast of Characters post!) is leaving next friday for NYU and he is beyond excited. Me? i'm sad to see him leave....but i'm happy that he's happy....i guess....
Anyway, I went over to his house last night for dinner and after we were looking at pictures of New York City on the computer. He was talking about what a great place it is and how much there is to do and how the seasons change and blah blah blahhhh. Big deal. I don't see what's so great about NYC...It's cold, and grey, and you can't walk around at night without getting mugged or murdered. Plus, Pere said that it smells something wicked. Personally, I think Frisk is going to hate it. He'll be crying for some sun and sand before his first week is out.

He also wants me to come visit him in October when he gets a week off for fall break. Erm, well, i guess we'll see....

Orphan

Last night, me and Mere went to go see Orphan. It was sooo good. I thought that it was going to be cliched and that the evil little girl would be the spawn of satan or something. But, no! It has this really crazy trippy ending that I never would have expected (even though I did guess it like 5 minutes before they told it...). Anyways, It was mad good. But there's a one liner at the end that has been re-used over and over again...That was a little bit lame. But other than that, it was a-mazin'.
